Saturday, June 20, marked the 2nd annual Idlewild Juneteenth Festival, hosted by Historical Idlewild Tours, LLC. and co-supported by DANCE, Inc., and the Idlewild Chamber of Commerce. Company CEO Micala Evans, originally envisioned the Juneteenth celebration in Idlewild as a way to promote culture and history in the historic African American community.
